An excellent source of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, this cereal is designed to keep the intestinal tract functioning properly. Cracking the grains, rather than steaming them, reduces nutrient loss. This cereal is an all-natural product with no preservatives.
Stovetop – Stir 2/3 cup cereal into 1-1/3 cups boiling salted water. Reduce heat to low; cook 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. For thicker consistency, let stand covered for 5 minutes. Serves 2.
Microwave* – In 1-1/2 qt. microwaveable bowl combine 2/3 cup cereal, 1-2/3 cups water and ¼ teaspoon salt. Microwave on high for 10 minutes. Stir. For thicker consistency, let stand 5 minutes.
